Rainer Puittinen - Chief Executive Officer

Rainer Puittinen was appointed to the position of CEO of BlueCielo ECM Solutions on March 1, 2011. He joined BlueCielo in March 2010 following the company’s acquisition of Kronodoc Oy, a Finland-based supplier of fully web-based document control solutions for complex industrial projects with large supplier networks. Mr Puittinen is one of the founders of Kronodoc Oy and became the company’s managing director in November 2007 after having held a number of management positions within the company. Mr Puittinen has 15 years’ hands-on management and leadership experience in the software industry. Among other achievements, he successfully led BlueCielo ECM Solutions Oy through a complete turn-around during 2007-2010 to a respected enterprise-level project document control solutions supplier to global industrial customers. Mr Puittinen holds an MSc in Computer Science from the Helsinki University of Technology and is fluent in English, Finnish, French and German.

Martijn Janmaat - President

Martijn Janmaat has served as president of BlueCielo ECM Solutions since January 1, 2010. Mr Janmaat was president and CEO of the company from June 2005 to December 31, 2009. During this time he led the company during a phase of successful strategic repositioning and rapid expansion. Mr Janmaat has been a major shareholder in BlueCielo ECM Solutions since 2000. With more than 20 years of leadership experience in the international software market he brings a wealth of experience to BlueCielo ECM Solutions. A member of the Supervisory Board of Exact Holding NV, one of the world's leading providers of business software solutions, Mr Janmaat took on the role of CEO at Exact Holding in September 2010. From 2002 until 2005, Mr Janmaat served in a variety of executive positions. He is founder and former President & CEO (1987-1998) of leading textile CAD/CAM and GIS solutions provider Nedgraphics, which he took public on the Euronext Amsterdam stock exchange in 1998. Mr Janmaat holds degrees in corporate and public law from Leiden University.

Ramon Burke - Chief Commercial Officer

Since Ramon Burke joined BlueCielo ECM Solutions in 2001, he has held key management positions, most recently being vice president of Direct Sales EMEA, before being appointed chief commercial officer in March 2011 to have oversight of BlueCielo’s global sales and marketing. Mr Burke has played an important role in building BlueCielo’s direct sales organization. With over 30 years’ experience, Mr Burke has previously held management positions with Computer Associates International, leading Dutch Telecom operator KPN and HCS Computer Graphics, a software company that develops solutions for local government and municipalities for the generation of digital maps, civil applications and facility management. A significant part of Mr Burke’s career was spent with Fluor Corporation, one of the largest engineering, procurement and construction companies (EPC) in the world. Mr Burke possesses special expertise in the oil and gas sector and holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering (Major in Production Technology).

Peter de Bode - Chief Financial Officer

Peter de Bode came on board with BlueCielo ECM Solutions as chief financial officer in September 2008. As a member of the executive leadership team, Mr de Bode is responsible for the overall strategic direction and management of the Finance, HR, Legal, Tax and Facilities departments. Before joining BlueCielo, Mr de Bode was director of finance at ION Geophysical, a listed American company providing seismic solutions to the global oil and gas industry. Prior to that, Mr de Bode carved an illustrious career in finance by holding several key financial management positions with paper industry giants Buhrmann Tetterode and Koninklijke Nederlandse Papierfabrieken, and coal trading company SSM, before starting his own consulting firm which took him to various locations worldwide. Mr de Bode studied business economics in Amsterdam, and has a postgraduate degree in auditing.

Brian Sallade - Managing Director, North America

As managing director for North America, Brian Sallade is responsible for the general operations, sales, services and strategic direction of BlueCielo ECM Solutions in North America and Mexico. Mr Sallade joined the company as chief operating officer for North America in June 2007 following BlueCielo's acquisition of DataCore Technology Inc, a successful company specializing in implementing ECM solutions and a long-time reseller of BlueCielo's software solutions – of which Mr Sallade was president for 11 years. Prior to DataCore Technology, Mr Sallade worked at an engineering company where he started and managed a CAD Services division, and also taught all levels of AutoCAD at several local colleges. Mr Sallade has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Delaware where he studied business administration.

Melle J de Jong - Managing Director, Latin America

Melle J de Jong was named managing director of BlueCielo do Brasil on January 1, 2010, and is responsible for the strategic direction and general operations of BlueCielo ECM Solutions in Latin America (except Mexico), including marketing, sales and professional services. Mr de Jong joined BlueCielo ECM Solutions in February 2008 as vice president of professional services in EMEA, bringing with him more than 30 years of management experience in international business. For over 20 years, Mr de Jong played an integral role at Johnson Controls in Europe where he held senior management positions of increasing responsibility from 1982 onwards, including the post of European ICT director, and was responsible for large factory automation projects in Germany, Italy and the Netherlands. Mr de Jong holds a Bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Groningen.

 

Tommi Kilpeläinen - Managing Director, Finland

Tommi Kilpeläinen joined BlueCielo ECM Solutions as sales director for the BlueCielo Kronodoc product in April 2010 upon the company’s acquisition of Kronodoc Oy (now BlueCielo ECM Solutions Oy), a successful company specializing in implementing the Kronodoc solution in complex industrial projects with large supplier networks. Mr Kilpeläinen was responsible for sales at Kronodoc Oy for four years. In his current role as operations manager for Finland and the BlueCielo Kronodoc product, Mr Kilpeläinen is responsible for the general operations, sales, services, support and maintenance, product development and strategic direction of BlueCielo ECM Solutions Oy in Finland. Mr Kilpeläinen has also worked at leading Finnish Telecom operator Elisa where he managed SaaS Services for large and midsized corporate customers. Mr Kilpeläinen has an MSc degree in marketing and business administration from the University of Helsinki.

 

Milo Scheeren - Research & Development Director

In his role as research and development director, Milo Scheeren oversees global product development, research, software engineering, documentation and localization. Since studying Mathematics at the Rijksuniversiteit Leiden in the Netherlands, Mr Scheeren has worked in information technology for over 20 years. During that time he has worked for IBM in various international software development positions and co-founded two software companies that have become market leaders in their respective areas of specialization: MINT BV in chip cards, and TJIP BV in chain integration in the insurance and banking sector. Prior to joining BlueCielo ECM Solutions in 2005, Mr Scheeren transformed international tax research and publishing company IBFD from a paper to an online publisher in two years.
